    For this source, I decided to go with the Ramayana because it is one of the only readings that we have done so far. For this specific story, I thought it would be a good point of reference because it is when the four brothers in the epic are introduced to us. It really fits because, at the same time, the Thunder became a potential dynasty with the four players above. They were all relatively young and inexperienced at the time, just like the brothers were. In this, I would make Russell Westbrook or James Harden, Rama, and change their names to become more like the characters in the epic. 

    I would make this the introduction page where the readers are introduced to the four brothers. I will talk about their backstory and how they all managed to get together on the OKC Thunder.

    If I chose James Harden to be Rama, this story would fit perfectly. James Harden was one of the best players of the young core, but the OKC Thunder lowballed his new contract. They ended up trading Harden to the Houston Rockets, effectively banishing him from the team. Just like how the villagers were dismayed that Rama was banished, the fans of the team felt the same way when the higher-ups did not want to compensate him.

    This story also relates pretty well to the current situation involving James Harden and Russell Westbrook. In our time period, Westbrook realizes that the situation in OKC isn't the best, so he decides to meet up with Harden and team up together on the Houston Rockets. This is extremely similar to the epic because both players consider themselves to have a brotherly bond since they grew up with one another. 

    For this story, I would like the pieces to be interconnecting. I want this story to be like a mini biography of James Harden's life, which is why I decided to find stories that are similar to what occurred in the present time. I want the readers to learn more about the NBA and how basketball has its own dramas and stories to tell as well. I know a lot of people don't like James Harden because he isn't on the OKC Thunder, but I want to share his perspective on what happened.
