It is December 2020. After a long period of confusion due to the coronavirus, the NBA has finally entered its free agency period. Nobody knows that the Thunder are thinking of doing this season. There are rumors that the Thunder will run it back and try for the playoffs again. There are also rumors that the Thunder are going to trade away their assets and rebuild. The figurehead behind all of this is Sam Presti, the magician. Sam Presti has the hope of the Thunder fanbase. No matter what happens, we will ride the storm behind Presti's ship.

For my microfiction, I wanted to write about a current event that taking place for the Thunder right now. Presti and his staff tend to be tight-lipped when it comes to trades and free agency. Nobody knows what will happen until the trades are announced.

The lines describing Sam Presti, and the commitment that his fans have for him are very powerful, despite their simplicity. Your 10 word story also goes on to emphasize this message in a great way.
Hi Brandon! I haven't gotten to read many micro-fictions yet, but I really enjoyed this one. I can tell that you are very passionate and knowledgable about the NBA, and those are definitely two things that are necessary for any story! I liked the way that you described Presti, emphasizing the way that everyone feels about him. Great job on this one!
