The Girl Monkey and the String of Pearls

    There once was a queen who had a nice pearl necklace.  The servant wanted the necklace, but a monkey stole the necklace from the box. The royal family looks for the necklace and eventually, the chief guard gets it from the monkey.

The Three Fishes

    There were three fishes named Thoughtful, Very-Thoughtful, and Thoughtless. Very-thoughtful warned the other two fishes about the fisherman. They didn't listen and got caught and were saved by Very-thoughtful in the end. 

The Tricky Wolf and the Rats

    A big rat was the chief of all the rats in the forest. A wolf saw the rats and wanted to eat them. He started eating the rats one by one. The chief rat figured out the trick and killed the wolf.

The Woodpecker, Turtle, and Deer

    These three animals lived together in the forest. A hunter wanted to kill the deer, but the other two animals hatched a plan to save him. They manage to injure the hunter and save the deer from the trap. The hunter never went after the deer again. 

The Golden Goose

    There was a golden goose who lived near a poor woman with her two daughters. The goose wanted to give one of his feathers to the poor family so they could sell it. The old woman got greedy and tried to pull out the goose's feathers. However, if they are pulled out forcefully, they turn white. The goose left and never came back.

The Stupid Monkeys

    The king gave everybody a holiday, but the groundskeeper was stuck in the garden. He asks the chief of monkeys to water the trees for him so he can vacation. The monkeys were stupid and uprooted the trees trying to water them. All of the trees died. 

The Cunning Wolf

    Someone in the town pretended to be dead so he could club an animal and eat it. The king of the wolves saw the man and knew that it was a trick. He snuck up on the man and told him that he knew it was a trick. All of the animals got away.

The Penny-Wise Monkey

    A king of a rich country wanted to overtake this small country. However, in the forest, one of the monkeys ate the peas that were used to feed the horses. The king saw the monkey's actions and told himself that he wouldn't be foolish and get more than he needed. He returned to his country.

The Red-Bud Tree

    Four princes went to look for the red-bud tree they heard about in their stories. All of the princes went to see the tree at different times. The tree was also going through its growth stage so it looked different to all of them. 

The Woodpecker and the Lion

    A lion was eating something and a bone got stuck in his throat. The woodpecker sees the commotion and wants to help out, but doesn't want to get eaten in the process. The lion doesn't kill the woodpecker when he helps him out. Later on, the woodpecker asks the lion for help, but the lion said that they were equal because the lion didn't kill the woodpecker. 

The Otters and the Wolf

    A lion wanted to eat some fresh fish so he visited the otters. The two otters had a hard time dividing the fish they caught to be fair. The wolf gave them the end pieces while he took the middle part for himself.
